Allisha Gray made a big impact in her short time as a member of the South Carolina women’s basketball team.
She’s also making a quick impression at the next level.
Gray was named WNBA rookie of the month for May. In five games for the Dallas Wings, the guard who came to USC from North Carolina averaged 13 points, five rebounds and one steal per game in 24.4 minutes
Gray shot 46.8 percent from the field and 35.8 percent from 3. She was the fourth pick in the WNBA Draft.
Her USC teammates, Kaela Davis was the team’s top option off the bench and averaged 10 points a game.
