Lexington enters the new boys basketball season with plenty of questions, but veteran coach Bailey Harris expects his generally inexperienced team to be in the hunt in tough Region 5-4A again.

Last year the Wildcats finished 17-10 overall and shared first place in the region with North Augusta. The one disappointment was a first-round playoff loss at home to Ridge View.

Seniors Nelson Spence (11.0 ppg, 6.0 rpg) and Phillip Blake (6.0 ppg, 4.0 rpg) and junior Mike Morris (6.0 ppg) are the veteran foundation of the new-look Wildcats. Spence, a wing guard, was an all-region pick a year ago.

Seniors Damon Davis, Grant Haney, William Hunter and Daniel Hoppe and junior Matt Coon, a 6-foot-7 forward, will also be in the regular rotation.
