The once mighty Eau Claire boys basketball program has fallen on hard times of late. The Shamrocks hit rock bottom last season – posting a 4-20 record and missing the state playoff cut for the first time since 1985.
And with just two returning starters on hand, the road back toward respectability this time around figures to be a challenge one.
Senior Chriss Dwyer, a 6-foot-7 forward, is the key veteran building block. He averaged 9.1 points a game last season and was an all-region pick. Junior point guard Glenn Allen is the other returning starter.
