Keenan notes: The Raiders are off to a 2-0 start for the first time since 1993. Coming off a bye week, Keenan crushed visiting Bethune-Bowman last week … Senior Arthur Goforth had a monster night – running for 171 yards and three touchdowns on just 12 carries while catching three passes for 35 yards. Quarterback Antonio Perry hit on 12 of 19 passes for 179 yards and two scores. Linebackers Anthony Parmenter and Antwan Parson rang up nine and eight tackles, respectively … The Raiders finished with a whopping advantage in yardage, as well (424-63) … Goforth has 317 yards rushing and four TD runs on 33 carries in two games. Perry is 24-for-39 for 380 yards and three touchdowns and just one interception. Marvin Poole is the top receiver so far with eight catches for 142 yards and one TD … Senior linebacker Keith Winston is the defensive leader with 23 tackles and one sack. Senior lineman Matthew Johnson has 11 tackles and a team-high four sacks.
Series history: The Raiders have taken two in a row from the Hornets and lead the series 23-18. Keenan’s 47-0 triumph was the biggest rout since the team started their annual meetings in 1971.
