Irmo improved to 11-0 defeating Dutch Fork 5-0 in a Region 5-4A boys soccer match on Tuesday night.
Red-hot Leo Mukofsky led the Yellow Jackets assault with two goals. Mukofsky has five goals in the past two matches, upping his season total to nine. Billy Padula had an assist on one of Mukofsky’s tallies. Emmett Lunceford, Taylor Varney and Paul Richardson accounted for the other Imro goals. Lunceford scored his sixth of the season off an assist by Kyle McEwan, Varney posted is 11th goal on a penalty kick and ichardson tallied his fifth with an assist to Mike Day.
Stephen Arneson and Rob Sullivan both had time in the nets for Irmo, which has nine shutouts on the books.
The Yellow Jackets play Thursday at home against lowly Orangeburg-Wilkinson and travel to face Spring Valley on Friday. Dutch Fork (6-2, 4-2), which dropped a 2-1 decision to SCISA power Cardinal Newman on Monday, plays at North Augusta on Friday.
