LEXINGTON – Lexington returned to action and pulled off a varsity sweep of Columbia The Wildcat boys team (12-3) breezed to a 104-67 triumph as 13 players contributed points. SWANSEA – The Tigers pulled off a non-region sweep of Gilbert. The 54-37 win in the girls game was significant, for it was the first setback of the season for the Indians. Mercede Brown and Sha Davis set the tone for the Tigers (7-3) with 16 points apiece The boys team improved to 8-5 courtesy of a 58-37 success. Gerald Loadholt (12 points) and Joseph Williams (11) were the Swansea leader Both team commence region play on Friday. Swansea will be at Silver Bluff got the 5-2A opener, while Gilbert hosts Batesburg-Leesville in the 3-2A lidlifter.
