Keenan, Eau Claire and Columbia maintained footing in the top half og the Region 3-2A boys basketball standings with wins on Tuesday.
Keenan (18-3, 6-1) topped Strom Thurmond 59-48 at home, Marcus Stroman’s 20 points led the Raiders, and Quinton Johnson and Eric Hopkins added 11 points each to the cause.
Eau Claire (14-4, 6-1) battered Batesburg-Leesville 60-40 at home. Marquise Jones and David Burgess shared scoring honors for the Shamrocks with 10 points apiece in the all-for-one effort. B-L’s Ty Jones and Quinn Brunson shared game scoring honor with 11 points apiece. The Panthers fell to 8-12, 2-5.
Columbia (10-9, 5-2) thumped Gilbert 71-31 behind Trinity Sells (14 points), Justin Metze (12) and Marcus Praylow (10). Austin Brewer scored 10 for Gilbert (0-17, 0-7).

Columbia (15-2, 7-0) retained sole possession of first place in the girls race by defeating Gilbert 54-28. Michala Robinson led the Capitals with 16 points.
Keenan (14-6, 4-3) snapped a two-game losing streak with a 56-16 rout of Strom Thurmond. Daisha Eddy paced the Raiders with 21 points, Keira Robinson added 13 and Jocolby Brown chipped in 10.
