Keenan boys bag top Region 3-2A seed.

The surging Raiders followed the lead of the girls team in Winnsboro, defeating host Fairfield Central for a No. 1 postseason seed. Keenan is riding a 27-game region winning streak.

Keenan followed the lead of their female counterparts on Tuesday in Winnsboro by defeating Fairfield Central to lock down the top state boys basketball playoff seed out of Region 3-2A.

The Raiders (17-5, 8-0) dispatched the host Griffins 56-48 behind the double-digit scoring of Marcus Stroman (14), Eric Hopkins (11) and Charles Smith (10). Sam Harmon chipped in eight points off the bench.

Keenan needs one more win to officially secure its third straight outright region championship. The Raiders have won or shared the top region spot every season since 2008.

Needless to say, Zach Norris club is on a roll. Keenan has won 11 of 12 games with the lone loss being a one-point decision to 4A Richland Northeast in the Capital City Classic championship game during the Christmas break. Moreover, the Raiders are riding a 27-game region winning streak dating back to 2011.

Keenan closes out the regular season with games home games against Eau Claire (Friday) and Pelion (Tuesday).
