Sam McKinney pitched a complete game, allowing two runs, and Kyle Smith had five RBIs to pace Socastee over Berkeley 11-2.
Smith broke the game open with a three-run double in the second inning.
Berkeley will next play Darlington for the right to face Socastee in the finals. The winner will have to beat Socastee twice.

High school baseball• (At) Waccamaw 12, Lake City 2 (5) | Jalen Simmons got the win on the mound for the Warriors as well as going 3-for-3 with two runs scored at the plate to give Waccamaw the win over Lake City.
Records – Waccamaw (18-9)• Aynor 3, Andrews 0 | Harrington threw 13 strikeouts as the Blue Jackets got the win over the Yellow Jackets.

High school softball• St. James 6, (at) Swansea 1 | Morgan Marlow was 2-for-3 with a home run, an RBI and two runs as the Sharks got the win over Swansea. St. James will play Darlington Friday at 5:30 p.m.for the District VIII championship.

Records – G: 13-9• (At) Aynor 17, Timberland 2 (5) | Shelby Cox was 3-for-3 with two runs scored as the the Blue Jackets got the win over Timberland. Aynor will face Dillon today for the district championship.
High school boys soccer• (At) Myrtle Beach 4, North Myrtle Beach 0 | Anthony Silvestri recorded his eight shutout of the season in goal for the Seahawks as Myrtle Beach got the win over the Chiefs. The Seahawks will finish the regular season second to Socastee, and they will prepare to host the first round of the playoffs Tuesday .

High school girls soccer• (At) Myrtle Beach 3, North Myrtle Beach 0 | Tori Zeltner, Bailey Richard, and Megan Hollembaek all supplied goals for the Seahawks as they got the win over the Chiefs.

High school girls soccer• West Florence 4, (at) Carolina Forest 1 | Erica Gazzani scored at the 14 minute mark for the Panthers and Alley Ethridge had one save and six blocks as the Panthers fell to the Knights.

St. James’ Alan Crum, who finished the day with medalist honors, was the individual tournament winner. Socastee, St. James, Myrtle Beach and North Myrtle Beach qualified for the lower state tournament, while Georgetown’s Evan runion qualified as an individual for the lower state tournament.
