Dutch Fork rising sophomore pitcher/third baseman Ty Olenchuk committed to play baseball at Clemson on Saturday.
"Proud to say after high school I will continue my baseball career at Clemson University," Olenchuk posted on Twitter. "Thanks to everyone who helped this happen."
Olenchuk, who also had an offer from South Carolina, was 4-0 on the mound with a 0.70 ERA as a freshman for the Silver Foxes with 24 strikeouts in 20 innings. At the plate, he hit .268 with seven RBI.
