Columbia’s Hayley Carter reflects on career at UNC

Columbia native Hayley Carter has been busy. In September, the North Carolina senior was in New York, playing at the American Collegiate Invitational. Earlier this month, she went to Los Angeles, where she became the North Carolina women’s tennis all-time wins leader at the Riviera/Intercollegiate Tennis Association All-American Championships.

Serena Williams and Rafael Nadal are two terrific champions who have won multiple major tournaments, Williams 21 and Nadal 14. At various times over the past decade, both have dominated their sport, but at this major event their fortunes appeared to have reversed.
