ADVERTISING – ONLINE ADVERTISING ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE (Math, Spelling): Acquires new clients for banner advertising and sponsorships from self-generated leads. Requires minimum of three hours daily cold calling, as well as 10 face-to-face meetings each week with prospective online advertisers. Must possess two years’ outside sales experience in developing a territory, including prospecting and/or cold calling for lead generation. Experience selling online services or advertising is helpful. Account management experience is helpful in maintaining relationships and increasing sales opportunities. College degree is preferred; advertising, marketing or business coursework is a plus. Must be an accomplished PC user and have a solid understanding of the Internet. INFORMATION SYSTEMS – PART-TIME COMPUTER OPERATOR (Typing, Math, Spelling): Responsible for operating, monitoring and overseeing primary publishing and business systems applications and processes. Produces and distributes various reports; assists help desk technicians as needed. Seeking individual with good speaking, writing and typing skills, as well as basic math and grammar skills. High school diploma or equivalent required, as well as prior computer experience. Ability to type 35 wpm is required. Also responsible for maintaining awareness of local competitive conditions and improving market share. Sells and services existing, new and inactive accounts. Must possess two to five years’ experience in sales or marketing, preferably with a media company. High school diploma is required; college degree is preferred. Previous outside sales experience and Microsoft Office proficiency required. College degree in related subject area is preferred. Typing proficiency of 35 wpm required. PRODUCTION – ELECTRICIAN: Responsible for installing, maintaining, diagnosing and repairing production equipment and selected building equipment as identified and directed by supervisor and in cooperation with other department personnel. Electrical, electronic and mathematical aptitude is required. Excellent oral and written communications are essential. Minimum of five years’ commercial/industrial experience and two years’ experience in electrical/electronic maintenance. High school diploma or equivalent, plus two years trade school certification is required. Rotating shifts: 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.; overtime required. POSTING DATE: 04/02/2008
