*ADVERTISING – ADVERTISING SALES ASSISTANT: (Typing, Math, Spelling): Works with major account executives and ad designers to solicit, sell and produce advertising for customers. Job duties will vary based on customer demand. High school diploma or equivalent with related experience is required. *ADVERTISING – OBITUARY REPRESENTATIVE: (Typing, Math, Spelling) Part-time weekday position, Monday-Friday, 2:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Responsible for compiling, editing, proofing and entering obituaries from funeral homes. Also responsible for assisting walk-in customers, rating paid obituaries, corresponding with funeral homes and families by phone and scanning photographs. High school diploma or equivalent is required and must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Basic PC skills and ability to work well within a deadline-driven environment are essential. Will be required to work occasional holidays as needed. The ability to type 55 wpm is required.

* PRODUCTION – CLAMP TRUCK OPERATOR / NEWSPRINT HANDLER: Operates clamp trucks to unload rolls of newsprint from railcars and trucks. Prepares newsprint rolls to go to the staging areas for the press. A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Prior forklift experience in a warehouse environment is essential, and certification is required. Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds and work in varied temperatures. Excellent mechanical and communication skills and mathematical aptitude are essential.
