A Few Words with...
Sandy Taylor, 45
Red Bank
How long have you lived in the Lexington area: 16 years.
What I miss when I’m out of town: The people. Everywhere we go we run into people we know.
The thing I most love about this town: I love that it still has a small-town feel, and as a parent I’m happy with the school district.
The restaurant I never tire of: O’Charleys. It’s my son’s favorite place.
My neighbors think I’m: I’m a terrible yard keeper.
Favorite time of year: Fall. Football.
If I had more time: My house would be cleaner.
What I dislike most: The fact the area is growing. I wish it could stay the way it is.
Last place I walked: YMCA track in Red Bank.
Favorite tradition: Hiding birthday signs around the house for my son, one sign for every year.
I can’t do without: My cell phone.
If I could be anything: A better teacher and mom.
The thing you say most often: Please don’t do that.
I’m the type of person: Who likes things to be in order.
One piece of advice: Don’t put off the fun things because you don’t have time. You’ve got to make time for it.
