Dorman lineman commits to Clemson

Offensive lineman Brandon Thomas (6-4, 285) of Dorman committed to Clemson on Wednesday.

Thomas also considered offers from USC, North Carolina, Maryland, Vanderbilt, N.C. State, Tennessee, Virginia and Kentucky.

Thomas said his commitment is a strong one but he plans to visit other schools, such as USC and Tennessee, during the season.

“It’s just a verbal commitment,” he said. “Right now they are pretty strong.”
