Watch: 'Cat in the Hat' trailer shows Dr. Seuss icon get 'one last chance'

June 9 (UPI) -- Warner Bros. is giving a glimpse of the new film The Cat in the Hat.

The studio shared a trailer for the movie Tuesday featuring Bill Hader as the voice of the title character.

The Cat in the Hat is based on the children's book by Dr. Seuss and marks the character's animated theatrical film debut.

The trailer shows the Cat in the Hat get "one last chance" from the I.I.I.I. (Institute for the Institution of Imagination and Inspiration) to help Gabby and Sebastian, a pair of siblings struggling with their family's move.

The Cat in the Hat faces losing his signature hat when the task goes the way of his previous assignments and turns into a disaster.

The voice cast also features Xochitl Gomez, Matt Berry, Quinta Brunson, Paula Pell, Tiago Martinez, Giancarlo Esposito, America Ferrera, Bowen Yang and Tituss Burgess.

The Cat in the Hat opens in theaters Nov. 6.
