Misti and Jim Raman, the Columbia dentists who are competing in this season's "Amazing Race," cruised easily to another first-place finish as the reality adventure show continued in Morocco.
The two found themselves way ahead of the other teams when they chose a detour to build a traditional Berber nomadic camp. The two worked quickly to erect a tent and create a living space under it with rugs and a tea set.
Meanwhile, the other teams were trying to milk goats and make goat butter. It takes time to milk a goat, much less make goat butter.
Misti took on the Roadblock challenge to zip line across ravines and walk rope bridges above canyons in the Atlas Mountains, solved a wooden puzzle, and make it back to rock the pit stop at a casbah, one of the many castles in Morocco.
So, halfway through the race, the Ramans have come in first three times. A team to watch? Indeed.
Gone are the mother daughter team of Nici and Shelley.
