LB Daniel Mack (6-0 198) of Miami will make an unofficial visit to Clemson Thursday. Mack will be coming to the state to visit family for the holiday, and will spend most of the day Thursday at Clemson before moving on to Holly Hill. "I'm expecting to see everything," Mack said of his first ever trip to Clemson. "I'm expecting something good. I will be looking to sit down with an academic adviser and sit down in a class. From a football standpoint, I want to see everything and maybe get a chance to get into the stadium. I'm expecting coach Blackwell to show me around."
Mack also has an offer from USC and had thought about visiting there while in the state, but he said he and recruiter Robert Gillespie weren't able to work out a date. Mack said he probably won't get to USC before the season. Mack also has offers from Ole Miss, Central Florida, Purdue, Wisconsin, Auburn, West Virginia, Boston College and Florida. He doesn't have a true favorite. "I like Boston College a lot," he said. "And you can put Clemson, Wake Forest and Central Florida up there."
