USC baseball coach Ray Tanner apparently will be leading another search for a recruiting coordinator.
Gamecocks assistant coach Monte Lee is expected to be named the new coach at his alma mater, the College of Charleston, according to a source. Lee confirmed earlier on Tuesday that he was a finalist, but declined further comment.
Lee replaces John Pawlowski, who left for Auburn.
Lee, 31, was promoted to full-time assistant coach last year after Jim Toman became the coach at Liberty. Lee spent the previous five seasons at USC as a part-time coach and camp coordinator.
