LB Jon Bostic (6-2 225) of Wellington, FL attended camps at Florida and Florida State last Friday and Saturday. "I had been to Florida before," Bostic said. "I got to workout with the linebacker coach and that was fun. I'm still learning about linebacker. I like to hit but I don't know a lot about technique. FSU was more of a seven on seven camp. I had fun there. All the players who came back were laughing and having a lot of fun. I got to work with their linebacker coach, too."
Bostic has nearly 30 offers including Clemson and USC, and is still looking at possible visits to both before the summer is out. "My dad was trying to make it to USC and LSU, and maybe Clemson, but we're not sure about those trips," Bostic said.
He added that he talked to Gamecock recruiter Robert Gillespie recently to assure him the Gamecocks were still on his list. He said he hasn't talked to Clemson recruiter David Blackwell since the spring.
Bostic said he still has no favorites. "I've giving everybody a chance," he said. "I want to go to a place where I feel comfortable. Coach Gillespie, I feel very comfortable with him."
