OL Dakota Dozier (6-4 290) of Brookland-Cayce has Furman, USC, and Clemson in his top five along with Illinois and Kentucky. Dozier, who camped at all three in-state schools on his list this summer, likes each for different reasons.
He likes USC because of its proximity to home and Coach Steve Spurrier. "I like the way things are set up around campus. Everything is close. And it would be cool to play for (Steve) Spurrier."
He has visited Clemson three times and really likes the campus. "The Upstate is beautiful and the layout of Clemson's campus is really nice." While at Clemson's camp he enjoyed the coaching staff. "They really get after you. I like that. They just want you to get better."
He also liked Furman's campus. "I was only there for a day, but it was nice." Dozier says their camp was the smallest, so it was more intimate. "With less people there, you really got to know their coaches. They want me to come up for a couple of games, so I'm sure I'll get to know the school better then."
