Clemson has made contact with DE Ryan Robinson (6-5 245) of Atlanta, and Robinson plans to make an unofficial visit to Death Valley for Saturday's game with NC State. Robinson said Clemson recruiter Ron West called him Wednesday, and Robinson accepted the invitation to come in for the game. "Clemson has just come on the scene," Robinson said. The Tigers have not offered.

He has offers from USC, Kentucky, North Carolina, Middle Tennessee State, Western Carolina and SC State. He's also hearing from Auburn. Robinson, the nephew of former Gamecock linebacker Kenneth Robinson, said USC and Auburn have been showing the strongest interest. He plans to make an unofficial visit to Auburn for the LSU game. Robinson has not decided on official visits.

In his first two games this season, Robinson totaled 20 tackles.
