WR Rico Mack (5-10 170) of Kennesaw, GA intends to be in Columbia on Saturday for the USC/Wofford game at Williams-Brice. Mack also listed USC in his top five. They are USC, Middle Tennessee State, Georgia Tech, Kentucky, and Ole Miss. He currently has offers from MTSU, Bowling Green, and Western Carolina.
Shane Beamer is his recruiter for the Gamecocks. Mack likes the coaches and players at USC. "They seem real nice. Columbia is a neat town, too. I've seen the facilities over there and they're real nice and supposed to get even nicer."
Mack is friends with Kenny McKinley and hopes to be a similar type of player. "I think if I worked real hard I could become that type of receiver." Mack caught over 50 balls for 900 yards and ten touchdowns in his junior year. He also ran the ball 30 times for 850 yards and three more scores. This season, he has 10 catches for 200 yards and is averaging 150 all-purpose yards a game. Mack runs a 4.44 40.
