LB Josh Dickerson (6-2 220) of Georgia Military JC said Thursday night he will be making his official visit to USC this weekend. His parents will join him on the trip and he expects to arrive in Columbia around 6:00 PM.
"I'm looking forward to seeing the facilities, the atmosphere and the players," Dickerson said.
Dickerson's teammate, LB Tony Straughter (6-1 211) also will make an official visit to USC this weekend, and Dickerson feels the Gamecocks want them both. "They just told me they really need us to come in and play for them next year," he said. "They are in my top three right now along with Tennessee and West Virginia. It's 50-50 on if I'll commit. If I really like it that much, then I'll commit, but I'm trying to take things slow. I want to visit Tennessee and West Virginia."
Dickerson said going into the weekend he does not have a favorite.
