QB Dontae Aycock (5-10 215) of Tampa, FL plans to take two of his official visits to USC and Georgia Tech after his season is completed. Aycock is being recruited by USC as a runningback and by Georgia Tech as a quarterback.
Aycock has already made two visits to Tech and likes what he has seen. "They run the same offense we run at my high school," he said. "I like the way they run their practices too," added Aycock. Last week, Aycock ran for 147 yards and four touchdowns and threw for another 96 yards and a touchdown.
He is in regular contact with USC recruiter David Reaves and says he has heard a lot of good things about the Gamecocks. "I know someone up there and he says a lot of good things about the program," says Aycock.
He was scheduled to visit North Carolina last weekend but did not make the trip. Aycock is wide open in his recruitment and says environment and academics are important to him. He has several offers including USC, Georgia Tech, Louisville, South Florida, West Virginia, Duke, Northwestern, Rutgers, and Arkansas.
