WR Lim Windham (6-2 218) of Mobile, AL would love to join the USC football program. "I love South Carolina," Windham said. "I love Steve Spurrier. I love the system they run." But, USC is not yet showing Windham the same love. Recruiter Ron Cooper was by the school this spring, but Windham said he's not heard recently from him.
Windham has offers from South Alabama, Arkansas State and Marshall. He's also getting interest from LSU and Southern Miss. He has visited LSU twice and might go to Southern Miss this weekend. "South Alabama is calling a lot," Windham said. 'I would like to stay close to home, so I like South Alabama. But if something bigger comes along, I can't turn that down. If South Carolina were to offer, I'd commit. I'm looking for a place where they throw the ball."
Last season Windham set school records with 54 catches for 805 yards. He also scored five touchdowns. Windham is playing running back this season and has rushed for 300 yards and four touchdowns in five games. "He's very versatile and is an outstanding playmaker," said his coach Ronnie Cottrell, the former recruiting coordinator at Florida State and Alabama. "And he's very unselfish."
