No decision on USC-LSU game until next week

South Carolina will have to wait a few more days before finding out which network will televise its Oct. 18 game against LSU and what time the game will start.

CBS announced today that it would broadcast the Alabama-Ole Miss game that day in its 3:30 p.m. slot.

But ESPN elected to take the six-day window before making its choice between the USC-LSU and Vanderbilt-Georgia games, USC media relations director Steve Fink said.

If ESPN selects the Gamecocks’ home game against the fourth-ranked Tigers, the game will kick off at 8 p.m. Otherwise, Raycom will air the game on a regional telecast beginning at 12:30 p.m.

A decision will be made over the weekend and will be announced Sunday.
