The South Carolina-LSU game next Saturday will take place in the prime-time spot of 8 p.m., ESPN said on the air this evening.
South Carolina had to wait longer than normal to find out which network would televise its Oct. 18 game against LSU and what time the game would start.
CBS announced earlier this week that it would broadcast the Alabama-Ole Miss game that day in its 3:30 p.m. slot.
But ESPN elected to take the six-day window before making its choice between the USC-LSU and Vanderbilt-Georgia games.
