His commitment to Clemson had grown softer over the weeks, and after hearing of Tommy Bowden's resignation Monday as the Tigers' head coach, DB Devonte Holloman (6-3 210) of South Pointe ended the commitment all together. "It's just not a good situation for me now with (Coach Bowden) being gone," Holloman said. "I'm not committed to Clemson anymore."
Holloman has already taken an official visit to Tennessee. And he had scheduled visits to USC and LSU the next two weekends before Bowden's resignation. And he's also interested in North Carolina. "I want to hear from UNC," the Charlotte native said. "I tried to coach (defensive line coach) John Blake from there." Michigan and Tennessee are two other schools Holloman wants to check out.
