6-2 junior Ian Miller of Charlotte made an unofficial visit to USC Saturday with his parents to watch basketball practice, meet the coaches and take in the football game. Miller said they toured campus, visited the dorms, went to practice and met with the academic adviser. Then, he went to the football game. He also got the chance to talk with Gamecock head coach Darrin Horn for about 45 minutes, and he spent most of the day with assistant coach Mike Boynton.
Miller said USC could be a good fit for him. "I like it because it's my style of play, pushing it up and down the floor." Miller also has visited Clemson this football season. He will go to Charlotte Thursday and Florida State Friday. He also is considering Florida, Kentucky, Auburn, Georgia, Miami, Marquette, Cincinnati, Virginia, Virginia Tech, Virginia Commonwealth, Southern Cal and Hampton. He does not have a favorite.
