LB Jonathan Davis (5-9 205) of Atlanta, GA has USC in his top two and is likely his leader according to his father. Ty Davis, his father, says that they had a wonderful time on their visit to Columbia. "We loved everything about it. The atmosphere, pretty much everything, was great," he said.
Davis's family is good friends with current freshman running back Kenny Miles. "I spoke with Kenny's father and they are so pleased with USC," Mr. Davis said. "Everyone was so nice to us. Coach (Ron) Cooper showed us around after the game. He compared Jonathan (Davis) to (Emmanual) Cook."
His father said that Davis is concentrating on the playoffs and his grades right now but they will begin looking into which schools he plans to visit shortly. They have not scheduled any other visits. Davis offers include USC, Clemson, FSU, Miami, Illinois, Georgia Tech, and Penn State among others.
