Calhoun County WR Alshon Jeffrey (6-3 217) made his official visit to Southern Cal last weekend, and the trip only strengthened his commitment to the Trojans. "My commitment is back at 100%," Jeffrey said. "It was great, awesome. Nothing really stood out. Everybody is real close, like brothers. Everybody just played their role."
Despite his feelings for Southern Cal, Jeffrey is still entertaining visits from coaches from other schools. USC recruiter Shane Beamer met with him Monday. "I still like USC," Jeffrey said. "I'm not basing anything on the Clemson game. They're still number two. I'm still SC."
New Tennessee assistant coach David Reaves also has contacted Jeffrey and plans to see him Tuesday. "I doubt I'll have much interest," Jeffrey said. "I ain't no Tennessee fan."
Jeffrey said he's uncertain if he'll schedule any more visits. If he does, they will take place in January.
