A number of recruiters are visiting with Timberland OL Quinton Washington (6-4 315) today. Coach Art Craig said coaches from USC, Tennessee, Maryland and North Carolina are meeting with Washington, with USC, Tennessee and North Carolina having in home visits. Former USC assistant David Reaves is now recruiter Washington for Tennessee. Craig said Clemson is due in on Wednesday. Washington took an official visit to Michigan in September and is scheduled to visit USC January 17th. Craig said he will decide on his other visits after the Shrine Bowl.
Craig also said USC and Clemson are now showing more interest in RB Rockarius King (5-7 190) who finished the season with 2068 rushing yards and 30 touchdowns. Craig said USC recruiter Steve Spurrier Jr. met with King Tuesday. King has offers from SC State, Newberry, UT Chattanooga and Charleston Southern.
