DE Duane Chisolm (6-4 245) of Beaufort met Tuesday at his school with USC recruiter Shane Beamer. "It went pretty well," he said of the meeting. "He talked about me keeping my grades up and me taking the SAT this weekend. He told me I was pretty much at the top of his list."
Chisolm said he's expecting Clemson recruiter Ron West and Alabama recruiter Burton Burns to visit him soon. He said USC and Clemson are recruiting him the hardest, and right now he's thinking the hardest about the Gamecocks. "A commitment should be coming around pretty soon," Chisolm said. "I'm thinking in maybe a week or two." He has scheduled an official visit with USC for January 17th.
Chisolm said he's worked hard on his grades and thinks he has a chance to qualify. "Qualifying is looking good," he said. "I've been going to a tudor after school." Chisolm tore the ACL in his right knee at mid season. He's now walking without a crutch and has started to work out again in the weight room.
