DE Sam Montgomery (6-5 240) of Greenwood took his official visit to Michigan over the weekend. "It went pretty good, I can't complain," Montgomery said Sunday night. "I was impressed by the bond of the players. They were all family. I loved them to death. There's no selfishness. They are all on the same page. They are ready to win some games. And playing opportunity is there. I'm high on Michigan right now. They are two steps ahead of everybody. But I'll wait and make my decision after all the visits."
Montgomery will visit North Carolina this weekend. He also plans to visit Tennessee, LSU and Oregon.
Clemson, he said, continues to work him for an official visit. "They want me to come really bad but I don't know," he said. "They will get an unofficial visit."
Montgomery also is considering USC and took an unofficial visit there during bowl practice.
