Gamecock baseball adds more commitments

The USC baseball staff has picked up commitments for the 2010 and 2011 classes.

Junior outfielder Jordan Scott of Riverside committed to the Gamecocks over the weekend. He's rated the No. 1 outfielder in the state for his class by Diamond Prospects.

Utility player Erik Payne of Richmond, Va., also has committed to the Gamecocks for 2010. He's regarded as one of the top hitters on the East Coast.

Sophomore catcher Grayson Greiner also committed to USC. Diamond Prospects ranks him the No. 1 catcher in the state in his class.

Infielder and outfielder TJ Costen of Virginia Beach, Va., also committed to USC for the 2011 class. He's regarded as one of the fastest players in the country.
