ATH Keenan Allen (6-3 205) of Greensboro, NC is one of the top prospects in North Carolina and is also getting national acclaim. He has been invited to the US Army All American Game in January.
Allen, who is coached by former Lancaster and Hartsville coach Johnny Roscoe, can play receiver, running back or defensive back. He also punts. Last season he had 45 catches with 14 for touchdowns, and he rushed for nine scores. He also intercepted nine passes.
Clemson and USC are among his offers. He plans to attend Clemson's junior day. Roscoe said USC offered Allen early but hasn't had much contact recently. Allen also has offers from North Carolina, NC State, Wake Forest, Duke, Alabama, Oklahoma and West Virginia. Georgia also is very interested.
Allen has been to Duke and NC State for junior days and also plans to go to North Carolina.

Allen's brother is the starting quarterback at the University of Buffalo. Off the field, he's a talented musician and can play three instuments and sign. Duke's music program is of particular interest to him according to Roscoe.
