ATH Joe Craig (6-0 165) of Gaffney will be one of the state's fastest prospects in 2010 as he has been clocked at 4.3 in the 40. Craig plays quarterback for the Indians but will be a running back or receiver in college.
Clemson offered him earlier this week and he will attend the Tigers' junior day this weekend. He went to Georgia's junior day and feels Georgia will offer soon. USC and Georgia Tech also are showing strong interest.
He attended the USC Showcase camp last summer. He also went to a game at Clemson last season.
He does not have a favorite but is looking the hardest at Clemson, USC, Georgia and Georgia Tech. He's also been hearing from UCLA, Maryland, Duke and Vanderbilt.
Craig said he grew up torn between Clemson and USC. He said his father is a Gamecock fan but he has one uncle who likes the Tigers and one who prefers the Gamecocks.
