Four prospects from Marlboro County plan to attend USC's junior day Saturday according to Bulldogs coach Dean Boyd.
WR Jaquan Brantley (5-9 165) caught 50 passes for 960 yards and 9 touchdowns last season. In the state semi final playoff game against Myrtle Beach, Brantley caught 14 passes for 210 yards and 3 touchdowns. He has been offered by Illinois while USC, Clemson, North Carolina, and NC State are interested. He'll visit Clemson at some point.
OL Thomas Teal (6-2 235) also plays on the defensive line. He has been offered by Illinis and is also getting interest from USC, Clemson, NC State and North Carolina. He will visit Clemson in the future.
QB Elliott Alford (6-2 185) is a pocket passer with a strong arm. He passed for 2600 yards and 31 touchdowns with 4 interceptions last season. As a sophomore he passed for 2000 yards and 20 touchdowns. He's been hearing from USC, Clemson, Illinois and UCLA. The Bruins recently requested tape on Alford. He will visit Clemson at some point.
And DE Lee Pegues (6-2 255) had 8 sacks last season after totaling 15 as a sophomore. He is hearing from USC, Clemson, Illinois, UNC and NC State. He plans to visit Clemson in a few weeks.
