OL Max Garcia (6-5 271) of Norcross, GA attended USC's junior day Saturday and the Gamecocks will have to battle from behind to gain his services.
"I didn't really like that we didn't get to see the campus at all," Garcia said. "I wished they had taken us around to see the dorms. I did like talking to coach Wolford and coach Beamer. I got to know more about them and what they are looking for in a lineman and what South Carolina football is all about. The facilities are really nice, state of the art stuff. Georgia is my favorite followed by Vanderbilt and Maryland."
Garcia has been to Georgia's junior day but has not been offered by the Bulldogs. He plans to visit Vanderbilt March 21st.
He might be back at USC this summer. "Coach Wolford wants me to come up there to a camp," he said. "He's stressing that anybody that goes there has a chance to play in their first year."
