The South Carolina men’s basketball team earned a share of the SEC East Division title on Sunday.

With Tennessee’s loss to Alabama, the Vols and USC finished with 10-6 league records. Tennessee remains the division’s top seed in the SEC tournament by virtue sweeping South Carolina in the regular season, but the SEC recognizes division co-champions without regard to tiebreakers.

It’s the second time USC has earned at least a share of a division title since it joined the league in 1992. It won the East in 1997 with a 15-1 record.
