Henderson Keeping Up Interest In Gamecocks

DE Justin Henderson (6-4 242) of Bamberg Ehrhardt says he still likes USC but is losing interest in Clemson. "I visited both schools for their junior days," he said. "I don't feel like I got the attention at Clemson that I did at Carolina. They (USC) showed me a lot of love. I've decided to focus on the schools that show me they want me."

He went on to say it is not too late for Clemson if they are, in fact, interested. Henderson has received several offers recently, but is still waiting for one from USC. "They told me they are going to be short (scholarship offers) this year," said Henderson. "They may want to re-evaluate me before they offer."

He has offers from Tulsa, Colorado, Michigan State, Syracuse, Kentucky, Duke, Maryland, Penn State, Vanderbilt, Texas A&M, and Appalachian State. He is also hearing from Auburn and Georgia Tech.

Henderson says his top five are Penn St., Auburn, Vanderbilt, Kentucky, and Maryland in no particular order. He has already visited Vanderbilt and plans to visit the other four soon. "I'm going to Penn State for their spring game. There is supposed to be 80,000 there," he said. "So, I'm looking forward to that."
