DL Zack McCray (6-4 1/2 240) of Lynchburg, VA has several offers including one from USC. His other offers are from North Carolina, Maryland, NC State, Virginia, Virginia Tech, BC, West Virginia, Wake Forest, Duke, Tennessee, LSU, and UCLA.
McCray went to junior days at Wake Forest, Virginia Tech, UNC, and NC State. He also has taken unofficials to Virginia and Maryland.
McCray says each school has been interesting but feels most comfortable with North Carolina and Virginia Tech. "I've really gotten to know their coaching staffs," he said. "I have been to each school enough to know the campuses and just feel good about what they each have to offer."
McCray says he is going to try and visit USC during his spring break. "I'm definately going to LSU," McCray said. "I'm going to try and swing by Tennessee and South Carolina too but I haven't made up my mind yet. Hopefully, it'll work out."
McCray says he is not too familiar with the Gamecocks but knows they had a good recruiting class last year and play in the toughest conference in the country.
Last year, McCray had 87 tackles, 20 sacks, 2 fumble recoveries, and an interception. He returned one of the fumbles and the pick for touchdowns. He does not have any favorites. "There are certain schools that interest me, obviously, but I'm not sure I have any favorites," said McCray.
