RB Roy Finch (5-8 170) of Niceville, FL has several offers on his sheet so far including one from USC. His others are from Oklahoma, Alabama, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Southern Miss, Auburn, Vanderbilt, Stanford Oregon, Michigan, and Texas A&M.
Finch was able to take in junior days at both Florida and Auburn. "Florida was really nice," said Finch. "We got to see their new facilities and meet with the coaches. I got to meet Coach (Urban) Meyer. That was cool." He also enjoyed Auburn. "It was a surprising visit," he said. "We met with Coach (Curtis) Luper. He's a really good guy with a great personality. We met his wife too. They seem like they really care. I would say the visit went well."
As of now, Finch has plans to visit Alabama for their spring game and Oklahoma over the summer. He says he would also like to visit USC. "I haven't spoken with anyone recently but I did talk to Coach (Jay) Graham in the past," he said. "I'd like to get up there and see that their facilities are like and meet the coaches. Plus, they play in the SEC. I like that."
Finch says he lived in D.C. while Spurrier coached the Redskins. "He's always intense. I likes what he is trying to do at South Carolina," said Finch.
He had 1300 yards rushing, 300 yards receiving, and 400 yards in punt returns with a total of 22 touchdowns as a junior. He has no favorites.
