USC Checking Out Nearby Quarterback

USC recruiter Ellis Johnson visited Richland Northeast High School Wednesday to watch spring practice, and in particular Cavalier QB Ker'Sean Wilson (5-11 187). "They are evaluating him," said RNE coach Jay Frye. "They want to see him in camp."

Wilson has offers from East Carolina and Buffalo. He's also drawn interest from Clemson, Notre Dame, Maryland, Tennessee, North Carolina, NC State and Michigan.

Last season Wilson passed for 1397 yards and 15 touchdowns and rushed for 657 yards and 12 touchdowns. He played receiver as a sophomore.
