DB John Fulton (6-1 188) of Manning took some visits this summer with teammate, Dexter Morant. "We went to Alabama, Georgia, and South Carolina," said Fulton. He had a good time on all three visits. "At the Alabama camp, we went down there to try and tear it up. We wanted to represent South Carolina well. I think we did," he said.
He also spent three days in Georgia camping and meeting with Coach Mark Richt. Fulton went to a basketball camp at USC and saw the campus. He returned the next weekend for an unofficial. "Ever since I was four-years-old, I wanted to be Gamecock," said Fulton. "Now it's time to figure out what's best for me and my family and what's best for my situation."
Fulton has offers from Clemson, USC, Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Maryland, NC State, and Tennessee. According to Fulton, he and his teammate Morant would like to go to the same school. "Me and Dexter are really focused on going to the same school. We're trying to make that happen but, if it doesn't, we understand that we have to do what is best for ourself."
Fulton also admitted he was a little unfamiliar with Clemson. "I have never been to Clemson so I really can't put them in my top five right now."
Fulton's top five remains, in order, Alabama, Georgia, USC, Florida and LSU. "Everybody is pressuring me to make an early commitment but I'm trying to hold off," Fulton said. "Alabama and Georgia won't me to make a quick decision." Fulton plans to make a decision in mid-November.
He will be back at USC July 27th for a camp. Fulton was at USC Sunday for the HSSR photo day but didn't talk with any of the coaches. He did talk with his recruiter Shane Beamer last week. "They really want me down there," Fulton said.
