ATH Lucky Radley (5-11 195) of Woodland HIlls, CA will graduate in December from high school, so is starting to put his recruiting into high gear. Next week he plans to set up some of his official visits, and USC is in good shape to get one of those trips.
"I like South Carolina a lot," Radley said. "I like coach Spurrier. He's a proven coach. I like coach Ward a lot, and I like Robbie Liles. He's real cool. The campus and facilities are nice. I don't know much about their tradition. They are a pretty big school. Academics wise, they are second to Vanderbilt in the SEC. My mom likes that."
Radley said the Gamecocks are willing to look at him at different positions. "Coach Ward likes me as a cornerback," he said. "They want me to play safety or defensive back but will give me an opportunity to play running back. I prefer safety but running back is more natural to me."
Radley has offers from USC, Colorado State, Iowa State, North Carolina, San Diego State, Western Michigan, Utah and Arizona. He says Florida is close to offering and could do so by the end of the week.
