RB Tahj Kimble (5-11 196) of Fernandina Beach, FL has not gotten an offer from USC but has shown interest. "I worked out for them and their running backs coach told me he liked me," said Kimble. "I got to see some of the campus and, from what I saw, it seemed like a real nice school."
Kimble grew up a Miami fan and he says that led to him pulling for USC. "Where I live, everybody wears Gator stuff. On gamedays, it's all blue and orange. I don't like Florida so I pull for anyone they're playing. USC always seem to play them well so they're my favorite SEC team," he said.
Kimble says Purdue and BC are the two schools trying to get him in on officials. "They both want me to come but I don't know if it'll work out because we play on Friday nights," he said. "It'll be tough to get up there and back after that."
His offers are from BC, Purdue, Buffalo, Indiana, Iowa State, Middle Tennessee, Charleston Southern and Tulane. USC, Clemson, FSU, Georgia Tech, Wake Forest, and North Carolina have shown interest. He does not have a favorite.
