LB Justin Parker (6-2 225) of Beaufort had hoped to make it in to USC for their game Thursday night against Ole Miss, but he decided that would be too much with school and a game on Friday. But he might make the drive up to Clemson Saturday for their game with TCU.
Parker has been leaning slightly to the Tigers over USC in recent weeks and that remains the case. "Everything is pretty much the same," Parker said. He has not picked up any new offers recently but feels Rutgers, Oregon and West Virginia are close to making offers.
Parker has offers from USC, Clemson, Maryland, Wake Forest, Central Florida, NC State, Syracuse, Vanderbilt, Colorado, South Florida, Mississippi State, East Carolina, Nebraska and Georgia Tech.
Parker said he talked with his USC recruiter Shane Beamer last Thursday and Beamer was at his game the next night. He's also talked recently with Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney and recruiters from several other schools. He will set official visits with Clemson and USC but has not decided on the other three trips.
