USC has offered in writing punter Patrick Fish (6-0 175) of Shelby, NC. Fish is the son of former Gardner-Webb head coach Woody Fish.
"At one time Chris Sailor (kicking guru) rated him the #13 punter in the country," Fish said. "He went to five camps in the summer and USC was one of them. He did well. He has a 4.5 (seconds) hangtime and a 40 yard average, no more and no less. And he can place his kicks. USC has a junior punter so they'd like to bring him in and redshirt him and then let him punt for four years."
Patrick Fish has set an official visit with USC for October 3rd. He also has an offer from Gardner-Webb and has drawn interest from Duke.
